Where can I buy free standing kitchen pieces besides Ikea?

I like the Ikea Varde line but some pieces are too big for my kitchen. Does any other chain store sell pieces for a free standing kitchen. I'm in the chicago burbs but ideally youd recommend some national chain thats everywhere and not some small boutique furniture store in NY or something like that. Any suggestions?
