Why are public kitchens especially in schools so grimy looking?
For example in my school, the kitchen always looks dirty, the floors have old food across them, and sometimes ants even crawling through the crevices in the floor. Plus they always smell really bad like old kitchen grease. I can never eat in a school cafeteria for this reason. Shouldn't the kitchen be clean? This one school that my friend goes to had rats falling from the ceiling. I mean gross. High schools are just so dingy.

- All right. Then get me a toilet paper roll, a corkscrew and some tin foil.
- becuase the unsaved steal all the money for the schools
- As it pertains to religion and spirituality...right?
- Your logic is really poor. Your generalizing is totally moronic. You make a flying leap from your school's kitchen to all of the schools' kitchens all over the world, How idiotic! The school where I teach made an A when the inspectors came.
- Normally, when a kitchen looks dirty, it's because it is dirty. Maybe the food prep areas are kept clean and sanitary, but you also have to clean walls and floors and back behind equipment. Sometimes it's just a maintenance issue where they are not doing a periodic deep cleaning or they aren't repainting walls and so forth. I will say that ants are not necessarily a sign of something being dirty. But it would indicate that pest control services are not being kept up.
