It happens a lot when I go under street lights, they turn off. It's also happened in buildings where overhead lights turn off, then on, then off only when I'm around them. Other people say they've never seen the exact same lights do that. I know electronics and design and build my own electromechanical devices from the ground up, including complicated circuits. Many of the lights that do this are simple, power source + switch + socket/ light bulb and that's it, no overheat shut off. After years of experience I can't figure out why a filament would just stop glowing even when the power is on and the switch is on, then it comes back on a bit later. Anyone else have this happen? Do you mean street lights are built to cycle? Some of them do, some don't. This is also happening with regular home lighting. No not paranoid, just curious.
