What kind of innovations would you like for your kitchen and living room?

What kind of innovations would you like for your kitchen and living room? I was just wandering about the opinions of different people... Would you like your fridge to be bigger or your sink to be wider so you can wash easily your household goods... Or maybe you would like a sofa that has this and that... So what kind of innovations would you like for your kitchen and living room?

1. A breakfast bar and a built in island. Maybe a breakfast nook. Window bench
2. I am hoping my future kitchen ( it will be built soon), will have top appliances like an oven that I saw that had an oven, a toaster and a bigger oven to one side..it looked like a strongly built tough oven, nice colour too but not decided on that yet, a built in larder and bigger sinks near a window if possible..these are just some of the things I want. Since it will be my own, I will plan big. I especially want a fireplace mantel as a focal point in the living room, there are so many to choose from too ..arggh have to decide soon. That's what I want ..so far. Let's see!
