  1. YES.. if your goal is to use 64bit Windows and apparently you already are. But keep in mind that more memory also uses more power
  2. It already has 4 gb of RAM in it... Add 4 more if you want to!
  3. technically ram does not make your computer faster the more ram you have the better of a multitasker it is having more ram just stops your computer from slowing down from using lots of programs so if you are a person that plays video games and what HD movies at the same time i dont think it is necessary
  4. it will be very fast. its the best computer configuration i have seen
  5. No! You would need to switch to SSD's for OS and apps in order to get to "alot" of speed. But if you have 8GB or RAM, you could move temp files, Firefox/IE's caches and other often accessed files to a RAM Drive. Check out superspeed dot com. They have an application that will let you create a drive out of RAM. Which you can use like I said. Can't get any faster than that on your system, but you'll definitely notice a speed improvement. Something that might help you with that is the mklink command line tool... research it.
  6. I upgraded to 8gb RAM and 3.33ghz processor. it helps
  7. Clean windows registry can speed up the computer. Over time, you install new programs, uninstalled unimportant programs, update software's, install new devices, download files from the web, etcetera, hence embarking all records in the registry system. This is normal, but it is not wise to leave it untouched. Once in a while, you have to check and remove files that are no longer in use to maintain the speed of your PC. 8. Most computer users have been trained that if you want more speed for your computer, then add more memory. Well, this is true, in certain circumstances. But for most of the times, it really is just bad files in your registry files. Corrupted or missing registry files can make your computer too slow. The registry is a main part of your computer's Operating System. With time, as you use Windows and install and uninstall programs, your registry will get congested and full of errors. So your computer could slow down. So, if you can clean it up this problem can be solved.Sometimes you can speed computer up by 300%. To clean up registry,You can download a software called regsitry cleaner---Clean registry, remnant, corrupt files and temp files,history,cookies,etc..
