Become a game designer in rockstar or naughty dog?

Basically i want to become a game designer n ultimately wanna work in naughty dog or rockstar(imao big companies).I dnt even know where to go n wat do do...Presently i m in india doing high school(intermediate) n will surely go to US after i complete my engg to pursue MSc.But i dnt know what to do to become a game designer.Is there a grp in engg that lets u to do game designing.Or will i hav 2 join special animation courses.BTW what shud i do after goin to US.Is there a specific MSc kinda thing for game designning also. Can u plz help me out n shed some light upon me!

1. you want a computer animation/computer science place. most uni's have these. try to find one that involves game design...
2. You don't always have to go to a Gaming uni or take courses. You know the game Portal? well it started off being an indie project by 4 regular uni students and was brought in and hired by Valve, and they never took any special courses. Look, if your really dedicated then start on something small like a mod for one of your favorite games. Join a modding community, they will help you find the right programs to get started, the right people to talk to and start having fun with your designs and getting used to the process before you even think of going for the big boys like Rockstar.
