Is there a way that a college student can get a job in advertising?

I am a college student and I would like to find an entry level job designing posters, album covers and or tea shirts ect.. using photoshop. I really don't care how good the pay is. I just want a job doing something creative. I have experience in photoshop because I've taken a few classes. My professors and class mates keep telling me how good my work is. I would really appreciate an honest answer. Thanks.

1. You're better off starting your own business as a hobby and find whatever work in the meantime until your talent takes off!!
2. I would contact local ad agencies now and try to get your foot in the door with an internship. The creative field is VERY competitive, but getting a leg-up with an internship is very helpful. Many creative people in the ad community got started through internships.
