Global Issues, and ideas for graphical design poster?

I am creating a poster that addresses a current global issue. I know many of the global issues include the environment, heal care, hunger, poverty, war, military spending, and most of the generic ones, but I am asking for ideas of other global issues that people are concerned about that are different then the norms. I'm trying to be creative as possible, so any suggestions would be helpful. I also want to try to create a political cartoon, a play on words, or create some sort of a pun in my poster.
