Questionnaire for Product Design Class!?

As part of my coursework task I have been asked to design a product for a modern kitchen and I have chosen a kitchen timer. I would be grateful for anybody's input on this. My question is What would your ideal Kitchen timer be like? Thanks JD

1. kitchen timer that is placed in the kitchen but linked to all parts of the house so you can hear it when it goes off just in case you are not around when a meal is on. And have it to be audible outside also...
