How can I make a mouse trap lifter that can lift a 50 Gram weight?

I am doing a science project for school and I need some design ideas/help. I need to somehow get a mousetrap to lift a 50 Gram weight 1 meter off the ground. It MUST be a controlled lift. The project itself must also be as light as possible. Any tips?

1. first u need to use 2 weights 1 50gm weight and 1 75 gram weight and a light wooden base when the mouse trap snaps the vibration makes the 75 gram weight that is near the end of the base fall off. the weight is connected to a string that is also connected to the 50 gram weight. when the 75 gram weight falls down the 50 gm weight goes up Nick Keith i know where u live p.s. i go to ur school
