  1. Use the "MySpace Crappy Photo" setting.
  2. by "glare" do you mean flash? I guess you would turn off the flash. But if you do that and you don't hold the camera steady, you will get a fuzzy photo. So use a tripod.
  3. "Clueless Narcissist" usually works. But the other answer of "Myspace Crappy Photo" works just as well too.
  4. You don't take your photo in the mirror. You don't use the flash. You use the self timer. You mount the camera so it is stable. You get in good light. You may have to prefocus on the area where you will stand. You set the white balance to match your light. You read and study your owners manual and consider taking a photography class, or at least getting some good books on the subject. Lord, I just don't have the strength to go into all this again. The world does NOT need you trying to make more photos like these: http://www.pbase.com/s_parrott/amazing steve
  5. If you absolutely have to use a mirror and dont have a tripod, hold the camera out as far away from you to your side that you can and angle the camera so it isnt facing directley at the mirror. This will cut down on some of the glare from the flash. Still going to be kinda crappy but you can crop out the camera, arm and flash before uploading. The best is as a previous answerer pointed out. Almost any camera now has a timer. Set the camera on a table or something and set a chair in front of it. Set the timer, hit the shutter release and go sit in that chair. Hope that helps and happy shooting.
