How to Maintain White Country Kitchen?

Oak cabinet spray white, country style is my dream kitchen. I am in dilemma. Should I stick to laminated white cabinet(which is easy to maintain) or go for oak which carpenter has to spray to get the desired pure white color. But how do we maintain oak if we cook everyday? How do we get ride of oil stains on white wood kitchen? Ok. Then what do you suggest Oscar? I like a white kitchen with trimming cabinet doors. What material should I use? Carpenter gave me 2 options- oak or solid wood. I want them to spray white with glossy finish. I saw a lot of kitchens in America houses with white kitchens. I wonder how they maintain them.

1. Get a durable paint that can be washed down, Even though I have no idea why anyone would want to paint Oak as pretty as it is with just a natural finish. But I would recommend an oil based acrylic paint with a clear coat finish.
2. if you are painting the surface, what does it matter if it is oak or pine...or for that matter particle board? You can only appreciate oak wood work if it is stained. If painted it may as well be plastic, you'll never notice the difference.
