Would you try this recipes?
Hi folks, I was messing around in the kitchen and came up with my own variations of the grilled cheese sandwich, well lets say i came up with 3 variants... 1) a grilled cheese sandwich topped with Honey 2) a grilled cheese sandwich topped with Asian sour plum sauce 3) a grilled sandwich with chilly flakes in between served as it is. I used dried chillies and crushed them to a flaky consistency! Btw, all tastes really really good. I used normal white bread and Kraft cheese. So tell me, will you try the above?? and do share your creations too! :)) Wow, thx for all your inputs guys...never expected I became a popular chef overnite..:)) For those trying the sour plum version, you can get something like this http://importfood.com/sanr2601.html or goto the exotic / asian isle in your local stores!

- The honey topped one sounds so delicious..All of them do!!! I do my grilled cheese sandwich with steamed mushrooms in between.....and top it with ketchup..tastes good too.
- I try the honey one.. that can be a tripping tasting treat. If you ever go to Taco Bell get that Apple pine thing, and ask them to put nacho cheese on top.... best ever!!!!
- i would try the 3rd one
- Drats ! I do not like sliced white bread and Kraft cheese (processed) But I would use Swiss cheese and some french bread. Sounds good tough..I do not mean to offend you. ;-)
- I'd try 2 and 3... I usually put a thin layer of strawberry jelly on mine.
- the honey one i would try, i have made grilled peanut butter sandwiches with honey! kids love them in winter
- I would do 1 & 2, but not 3 since I'm no fan of chiles. Try sprinkling brown sugar in your grilled cheese, we did this as kids and it was awesome!
- I have had 1 & 3 never had Asian sour plum sauce but I would try it I share some of my creations (some ideas spawned from others ideas) grilled cheese add grape jam and let it melt into the bread--yummy grilled cheese --grill it with onion slices and pickles in it--yumm cold cheese with jam and mayo---yummmmm(my family thinks I'm nuts with this one!) peanut butter and jelly with cheese!!!!!! peanut butter and cheese ....
- I'd definitely try #2, and maybe #3. My variation is to spray the outside of the bread with garlic spray instead of using butter. When it's done I like dipping it in mayo or wasabi mayo to eat. Sounds strange, but it's really good.
