I need to add lighting in a very small bathroom?

I need to add lighting in a small bathroom but don't want the expense of an electrician to wire it......Any suggestions would be great..

  1. There is available small 'under the counter' lights that plug into a regular socket. Check them out at any Hardware store.
  2. add a multi-bulb fixture.
  3. An electrician is cheap compared to electrocution or fire.
  4. Hmmm.... I wish I could help you out, but having no idea what it looks like makes a problem. (I am an electrician by the way.) If you could find a way to make pictures available somewhere I could give some advice on your options.
  5. You could potentially run an extension cord under the door, just make sure that it doesn't get caught in anyway in the door as to damage the cord.
  6. If you already have a light in the bathroom you can either update it to one with higher wattage or run a wire from that through the attic and down to where you want it. Will require drilling through the top-plate and running down the side of a stud. Let us know what you have and what you want and we'll help you out. http://www.homedepot.com/Lighting-Fans-Bath-Vanity-Lighting/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xr5Zarv3Z1z141nr/h_d2/Navigation?&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&langId=-1 Any of the multiple vanity lights will give you more than enough light for a small bathroom.
