Ramadan: How many of you consider Sahih Bukhari as a book of lies by not accepting the following Hadith?
According to these Hadiths Taraweehs are Bidah. Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever prayed at night the whole month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab (a sub-narrator) said, "Allah's Apostle died and the people continued observing that (i.e. Nawafil offered individually, not in congregation), and it remained as it was during the Caliphate of Abu Bakr and in the early days of 'Umar's Caliphate." 'Abdur Rahman bin 'Abdul Qari said, "I went out in the company of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab one night in Ramadan to the mosque and found the people praying in different groups. A man praying alone or a man praying with a little group behind him. So, 'Umar said, 'in my opinion I would better collect these (people) under the leadership of one Qari (Reciter) (i.e. let them pray in congregation!)'. So, he made up his mind to congregate them behind Ubai bin Ka'b. Then on another night I went again in his company and the people were praying behind their reciter. On that, 'Umar remarked, 'what an EXCELLENT Bid'ah (i.e. innovation in religion) this is; but the prayer which they do not perform, but sleep at its time is better than the one they are offering.' He meant the prayer in the last part of the night(Tahajjut). (In those days) people used to pray in the early part of the night." Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 32, Number 227 Narrated Abu Huraira: So, 'Umar said, 'in my opinion I would better collect these (people) under the leadership of one Qari (Reciter) (i.e. let them pray in congregation!)'. - Matters of Fiqh are serious issues, we should not play with the word. According to Hadith Prophet PBUH used to pray Taraweeh and on three occasion it was done with congregation also. Later Umar RA arranged it for the sake of ease of Ummah at early night instead of late night. Ali RA did not objected to it. If Ali RA did Taqiah, why do not you follow and continue Taqiah.
- Hadith books have been compiled 200 years after prophet Muhammed's death... How authentic are any of these? Besides, the Quran is the best hadith (39:23) [39:23] GOD has revealed herein the best Hadith; a book that is consistent, and points out both ways (to Heaven and Hell). The skins of those who reverence their Lord cringe therefrom, then their skins and their hearts soften up for GOD's message. Such is GOD's guidance; He bestows it upon whoever wills (to be guided). As for those sent astray by GOD, nothing can guide them. There is only one truly authentic hadith - God's Hadith: (45:6) These are GOD's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which Hadith other than GOD and His revelations do they believe? (68:44) Therefore, let Me deal with those who reject this Hadith; we will lead them on whence they never perceive. Peace Joseph S
- Momin, just learn to breath. dont start to push to fight u...everytime a muslim will insult now, i hope that u hold that sin since u started it. Silence is the best reply to a fool.(ALI RA)...to make it short u are a sick fool. and u will never learn to close ur mouth. @ Leon: finally ...thank u !!! @ Momin: oh really how about i post some special ahadith by shiaa? and make all the sunni laugh??? after all this is siratul mustaqim...isnt what u said? what stop me from posting q against shiaa and claiming that its to spread knowledge??? but im not doing that, bcz i respect that muslims dont wanna see fights...so be wise bcz im starting to lose my patience and ask about islam not sunni said this and sunni did that....get a life, u dont care about us, u only love to beg for some attention here.
- My husband and I follow the Qur'an and 6 Sahih hadiths. The only ones we don't follow are the weak ones.
- Bro leave them alone. How is it affecting your life if sunnis pray taraweeh in a congregation form or pray individual? __________________________________ Surely this Islam is your religion, one religion (only), and I am your Lord, therefore serve Me. And they broke their religion (into sects) between them: to Us shall all come back. Therefore whoever shall do of good deeds and he is a believer, there shall be no denying of his exertion, and surely We will write (It) down for him. Quran [21:92-94]
- Bukhari "rejected" 593,000 Ahdith from his compilation. Isn't it ironic that the Bukhari Alone type will try and label you as a Hadith rejector if you exercise your God given right to challenge the work of a fallible man. Does anybody wonder how did he managed to take over 600,000 ghusls as part of his claim that he did this for each and every Hadith he researched all in a mere 16 years :) Do the math. Not to mention his own student including hundreds of Ahadith rejected by Bukhari in his own collection and the other way around.
- as far as i know , sahih bokhari and nehjul balagha are both full of flaws, sahih bokhari contains hadiths which bring shame to muslims and i also think the sermons in the nehjul balagha have been changed by scholars for there own interests
- Sahih Bukhari is the most Authentic book after the Quran.
- The companions themselves have admitted that they changed the sunnah (custom of the Prophet ) many times: Sahih al-Bukhari narrates in v3, p32, under the category of "The Battle of Hudaiybiyah" that: `Ala Ibn al- Masib said: "I met al-Bara Ibn `Azib, so I said may you be happy all the time, for you were the companion of the Prophet and you have made a pact (bay'ah) with him under the tree." So al-Bara said: "O son of my brother, you know not of what we have changed after His ( Prophet's ) death!!!" This is a direct confession by a very close companion that they have changed the religion of Allah and violated His orders. Again, who are the companions to change the religion of Allah ? This is the same reason that the Islamic Ummah (Nation) is still living in deplorable conditions where the most basic of human rights is not even granted. This is a sign for those who reflect. It is also narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari, v2, p201, after a long tradition that: `Umar, when he was stabbed and Ibn `Abbas was offering some form of consolation, said: ".......By Allah , if I had enough gold to fill the entire earth, I would offer it to ransom myself from Allah's punishment before I see Him ." If `Umar was such a faithful companion, why would he wish to ransom himself from Allah ? Could it be because he committed many injustices and he will on the Day of Judgment be held accountable for them? Question for yourself.
- there are errors in books of sunnis ...and shias ....hence there is no major fault of compilers ...they have done thier duties to best of thier abilities .in that ...envoirnments ...government laws ....now we have computer still cannot analyse ......thier difficulties were far more than us ....jazakallah ......
