Can you see any problems with this kitchen/bathroom design?
The bathroom will be next to the kitchen and the connecting wall will surround the toilet, refrigerator and sink. From the kitchen it will look like the fridge is "sunk into" the wall leaving more counter space and so the fridge don't stick out any. The bathroom will look like both the toilet and sink are also "sunk in" leaving more room for the tub/shower and storage closet. The space(wall) between will have a painting and lighting hung on it in the bathroom.Think of the wall as a Square W. Is this a good design or not? Want/need input before we start building.

- I think it's an excellent design. In older homes, it was common to alternate closets and fixed items like you plan on doing to create more floor space. In the newer homes, for some reason, there seems to be a lot of "wasted" space. I think it's a well thought plan to get the most use out of the space you have. Good luck...remodeling is a lot of work but the end result is very satisfying!
- I think it sounds great. You explained it quite well.
- Bravo, ! I understood all of that! And I think it will be very nice. Go for it!
- it sound good, but is it functional, is it proper, is it well distributed. It depends on the needs of the family and if they like the layout (not the design). It could sound that you are trying to accomodate these fixtures in the best way possible, but in the long run would it be proper. What about plumbing, would it be a problem, for future repairs? Consider this and other things to accomplish something that your client would like and would be please for the outcome.
