are two associated degrees not as good as a bachlors degree?

I have a business degree and am looking to start up my own business. To better my creativity I have decided to get a degree in graphic design. I am torn between spending the additonal money and time on a BA . The counslor of the school is pushing me toward an A.A because she says I have the business side down I just need the creative side for my business. I just feel that two A.A degrees will not look good on a resume if my business should fail.

1. You are right: Two AA's are not as good as a bachelors degree.
2. You should really get a bachelor's degree because you would learn better and would get a degree from a school with a bigger name than whatever community college you were thinking of getting the an associate degree. Of course the counselor would want you to stay in the school because it is more money for them. It is good to have options if your business fails or realize don't want the business anymore, you at least have the skills required to get another job.
3. Been there - done that. No two or three or half a dozen AA degrees are as good as the simple old BA degree in any subject. I have two associate degrees and now wish I had gone on while I could and gotten the BA. Stay on course and get the Bachelor if you can.
