Are Ikea kitchens of a good quality?

Are Ikea kitchens of a good quality? I am looking at options for renovating my kitchen and wanted honest feedback in regards to the kitchen quality. Also, is the kitchen easy to install for those who have a little building experience?

1. hi, we bought an Ikea kitchen 6 months ago. It is fabulous and yes it was really easy to assemble. Good luck!
2. Heck Yes! We have friends who spent a fortune on their kitchen - granite, imported tile floors, extensive mill-work moldings, realigned plumbing, etc. etc. etc. then ran low on budget when it came to cabinets. On the advice of their expensive designer, they reluctantly had Ikea cabinets installed. Well - even 10 years later - their cabinets look right at home in their expensive kitchen renovation.
