How would you describe this in a book? Picture included?

How would you describe these two kitchen's in a book. I suck at describing things. And I just need one, so pick the one you like too, THanks in advance.

1. Since it would be for a book I would stick simple descriptions of the kitchens like bright and clean for the first one, and sleek and modern for the second one. Unless the kitchens play an important role in the story they don't really need a lot of description.
2. Kitchen 1 - open fresh yet traditional Kitchen 2 - modern, linear and functional
