  1. It would help if you learned how to spell flair. It sounds like you´re going to set off a rocket or something!!
  2. As wit any profession, It can be exceedingly difficult to enter into interior design without the proper qualifications. however, if your flair is sufficient, it will still be more than possible. I suggest developing a portfolio of any interior design projects you undertake, as this will seriously increase your chances of making it in this field of employment.
  3. No, I don't think that you can be an interior designer without schooling. An interior designer needs to know about building codes and more in depth about building design, so you would need to be certified. You can be an interior decorator, who can also legally act as a design consultant, but there is a difference. To be and interior decorator/design consultant you could go to school (which doesn't take as long) and you can become certified with your diploma or certificate (of course.) If you do not go to school, and work based on your natural flare you usually have to be in the business for more than five years to be recognized by an accredited association. Lots of decorators didn't go to school for it, but I think you will find that it is becoming more popular and competitive. Plus for the likes of kitchens and bathroom design you kind of need to know standard and regulations, or you hire a contractor that does.
