How do I create a blog template of my own?

I'm trying to start a resume writing business in Brazil, and I've decided a blogspot website is enough to offer my service. I'm feeling creative though and want to design my own template. I'm very good with computers, and have some experience using Dreamweaver and CS3 but that was a while ago and I'm new to blogging sites.

1. A template is a template, but exactly what's needed for the blog you're going to use depends on which blog that is. Download other templates for that blog and study them. As far as actually writing one, you can use Notepad. Dreamweaver is for people who can't learn to do the actual work.

3. You should know some coding for this. Dreamweaver CS3 is more than enough to create a template without coding. You should know something and all about HTML and CSS. You should create the templates using HTML and CSS. You should know a bit of image editing and designing in Adobe Photoshop to make the template stylish and pleasing.
