have you used this company for photographs? How was it?

portrait innovations...i've heard some moms on here mention something about them and was just curious... what kind of pricing do they have? I know they have a special package right now that's like $10 but I'm just curious about what you paid for pictures and did you get a lot of pictures? oh, i'm sure that I would be spending more than just the $10...simply b/c I haven't gotten any professional pictures done (just the birth announcements from the hospital)...

My sister used those for my nephew's 4 month pictures and they turned out GREAT!!! The backgrounds looked great, almost real! She had a beach background that really looked like the real thing! My sis did tell me that the $10 thing is hard to stay within because of all the pics they take, you end up spending more. I think she spent around $300 for a lot of poses. I plan on taking Georgia there for her 2 year pics.
I used them and liked them... The $10 deal is only good for one pose. But you get a whole bunch of pictures (of that one pose)! I went in wanting to only spend that $10, but the photos were so good that I ended up going home with 3 additional poses (several photographs of each pose), plus the CD of all the poses (which you can't print from, but you can use them on your computer for screen savers or to email them to friends or whatever). I think I ended up paying $80 (they told me $150-200 is average). I was very happy with them! Plus, they print the pictures and you get to take them home the same day! :) I think it's worth it, though, even if you aren't particularly happy with all of the poses (I think it probably depends on the photographer that you get), because you can choose the one best pose to get a whole bunch of pictures for only $10!!! They really do try to get you to buy more and more, though, so just be prepared to say "No, thanks!" if you don't want to spend more than the $10!
I love them!!!! There prices are great =) You get a ton ton ton of pictures and also if you get the 6 picture package (or more) you get the picture CD so you can print the photos yourself or bing it back to PI and they will print them off for you, for a small fee.
