i have to design a modern chinese clothing, any ideas for what it couldlook like and what could be on it?

I have to design it in a way that anyone can tell that the clothing is Chinese but also have to be modern( 21 century)

2. S'it a male or female design? My suggestion is female - you could do a cheong sam (those traditional women's dress with buttons on the collar bone sides and half of turtle necks), and turn it to a party dress/gown. Make it sleeveless and play with simple pattern or motives, or just plain colors (like black/white) with simple minimalist ornaments on the collar or buttons. Make it short dress with a cut on one side of its legs.. And get an oriental pretty momma to wear this for a big finish.. Good luck
3. Take their triangular shaped hat as the model/shape foundation for the rest of the clothing. And now remember the Supersonics comic strip and animations, and you'll have pictured the design with those upwards shoulders, upwards lower edges of the skirts and dresses and so on, all mantaining the basic triangular shape. Your turn to do the same to the edges of the pants. To the pants, you may add on each side -starting at the waistline- a couple of long and narrow sort of tie-backs that would criss-cross down each leg but up to right above the knee, and tie up in a bow or buckle it.
4. i instantly think of red and gold, you can make a like a top with the idea, someone said it before the button up thing, but instead of having it high up to the neck, make it lower cut with chinese designs in gold, and u can design the shirt in like red, green, and other colours u find in the chinese culture. and maybe have it like a v neck shape at the chest but have it meet to a side of the shirt as opposed to the middle, and then u can have the look of a fold and buttons going down. gosh did that make sense? or maybe have a dress, a basic kind of dress, with the design of a dragon wrapping around it? i dont know, im not too creative with designing clothes, i just like buying them! lmao! good luck with that though! :-]
