Help with interior design for my room!?
I've always wanted to paint my bedroom black, but have never really felt like moving out all my furniture, getting paint, etc. Now, I will be moving in a few weeks, and see it as a perfect opportunity to finally have a black room. I hope to paint the walls black, and splatter them all over with neon paints (ie. neon turquoise, lime green, yellow, orange, purple, and maybe even a little hot pink.) I don't think it will be too overpowering or make the room look too small, since it's a good average size and has a large window. I will also get a blacklight to make the colours really jump out. I am very excited about painting, but have absolutely no idea how to go about furnishing it. Does anyone know how I can pull this off, furniture and all? And if there is no way at all this could work, how else do you think I could paint my walls? If it helps at all, I am a 13 year old girl with a very scene/punk style, and my favourite colours are black and lime green. Also, I am on a budget, and can't afford to go out and buy a ton of new things. Thank you!

- My honest opinion: Don't do it. Black is really hard to paint over if or when you get sick of the wall color. But if you do, make sure your room is big enough so it wont make it look tiny tiny. dark colors will make your room look very small. also, here's a designer: http://www.findanyfloor.com/VirtualRoomDesigner.xhtml get the walls black and see what kind of styles go with what. If you have a lot of stuff you can spray paint and do yourself with crafts etc. that will help with keeping the budget friendly. So that's a few ideas. Get some colors in there too - some deep purples, oranges, blues, yellows (peacock feathers in a vase always seem to be awesome)! its fun, and really modern. If you have pillows, go get fabric at the store instead on buying new pillows (way cheaper)! and sew on new fabric!, you can also accent your baseboards with neon color you like instead of splattering it on the walls - it will be bold, clean, and modern! I hope this helps!
