Interior design ideas PLEASE?

looking to paint in our new 1st home. Are there any websites where I can browse pictures of paint ideas & or decorations? Do interior designers usually so complimentary consults? Thank you!

1. interior decorators will charge you on hourly basis. they might give you a free consultation if you get work done by them. Absolutely free consultations i guess is not possible.
2. there are tons of magazines and books on decorating. You could also watch Home and Garden TV (HG TV) if you have it where you are. The shows give me all sorts of good ideas. Take your time deciding, though, so you won't hate it when it's done.
3. if you look on hgtv.com and look at the intererior decorators porfolios or profiles you can get some ideas that way. i was trying to get some ideas for my bedroom & i looked on this website. You can try out how certain paint colors would look in a room on behr.com go to the bar that says start colorsmart & that will take you through everything so you can get some ideas. Good luck!
