Public Comments

  1. (1) The way the actors are being directed to use the stage area ('blocking'). (2) The theatre's lighting positions and equipment, set design, ground plan, and section. (3) The show's mood. (4) The director's vision. (5) Renderings. (6) Storyboards. (7) Mockups (miniaturized simulations of color, beam angle, intensity, and gobos). (8) Cue sheets or "lighting keys," to communicate the artistic look, and when each look changes. (9) Lightplots (scale drawings that show the locations of lighting fixtures and lighting positions, so a team of electricians can independently install the lighting system. Next to each instrument on the plan will be information for any color gel, gobo, or other accessory that needs to go with it, and its channel number). (10) Instrument schedules. (11) Shop orders. (12) Focus charts.
