Do you buy homemade baby items?
I am addicted to etsy.com and I am thinking about buying a sewing machine to make my own things and to possibly sell. Out of all the burp clothes and bibs I have, my $1/each homemade ones look and have held up the best. Plus, I love being able to find affordable but unique things. So my question: Do you buy/make baby items, and if so what do you make? I've made nothing so far, but I have purchased bibs, wetbags, washclothes/wipes, a travel changing pad, and a car seat cover.

- No , haven't really thought of it. But I sure will look into it .
- I have made my own daughters blessing (baptism/dedication) dress and made another one to sell and I buy homemade as much as I can!!! I have bought homemade cloth diapers, burp clothes, and too much stuff to mention... I think they are the highest quality and would pay more than those items sold in stores!!!
- I love home made stuff. My SIL is a seamstress and has made Lucy some lovely dresses, and my Mum is a beautiful knitter....sadly though, it is often cheaper to just buy shop things on sale :( I have made Lucy's old nappy bag (a huge when for when I thought I needed to take almost all of her belongings for a small trip down the street haha), I've turned some cheap washcloths into very handy bibs by simply cutting a circle, hemming and adding velcro or a press stud... they were large washcloths so made larger than average bibs and the towelling is very absorbent. I think they are the main things I made...I don't do it regularly
- I make bows for the baby and kids,...also dresses like those pillow case dresses!
