Where can you find bathrooms in Tokyo?
I don't think that it's a good idea to impose on restaurants to use their bathrooms if you're not eating there, am I right?
Public Comments
- McDonalds, Starbucks, convenience stores, department stores, etc. etc.. They might give you a funny look if you don't buy anything, but lots of people do it anyway. I wouldn't try that at a fancy restaurant though. Train stations have bathrooms but usually they are inside the gates.
- Most office buildings have them, but it is a good idea to carry your own toilet paper.
- go to the park bathroom so you wont be rude haha
- Most of all buildings, restaurants, convenience stores and hotels have no-key-lock bathrooms different from USA. So you can go the bathrooms anywhere you see. There are also several public bathrooms in large parks, busy streets, train stations too where are no janitor who bothers you for any tips.
