I want to start a business doing LED Flex Neon and Club/Bar/Store Lighting Design. Kind of Experience I Need?

Me and my uncle are going to start a business, he is a licensed electrician but I have experience in business and sales. I guess I would need some type of art background? Any books i can use as reference?

1. You can get many art background books. What you need is experience in making the signs. So, i say get out there and buy your supplies and make a sign with your name or last name or even an address sign? You need to know the process for when someone orders a sign.
2. visit the art department of any local college. maybe bring on a partner. and whatever else you do, find a free business plan template and download it and start filling one out. there are about 10,000 books on small biz and entrepreneurship. NONE are better than the others --as long as you separate the ones that colleges use vs the ones entrepreneurs themselves use [with no bibliography]
