Accent wall with Damask wallpaper in office? Help!?

We are remodeling our home with new paint etc and I work from home so I have my own office that I want to redo and I love interior design so I am always looking for neat things to try. Last night I was watching some show on HGTV and the lady did like two walls with black and white damask wallpaper and then left the other two walls white and it looked awesome. But what I am wondering is can I do one wall black and white damask wallpaper like an accent wall that my desk will go against, and then paint the other three walls a teal green color? Or will that look weird since the wallpaper is black and white.. I'll paste a link of the wallpaper and tell me what you think? 1. It is best to use walls painted in a similar color to the colous in your wallpaper. Otherwise, the walls in the room won't "flow", and you will end up with a very stop & start effect, which will make the room look much smaller. If you like the damask but you want to use a teal paint, why not try a damask with a teal print or background? There are a lot of fabulous damask wallpapers with beautiful blue and teal shades. Home Depot offers some excellent choices by Graham & Brown or Blue Mountain Wallcovering.
2. You are correct. It will look beyond weird. You get to chose: Black and White....or Color Either one is a fabulous effect!
3. I couldn't get your teal shade to come up, but I still think it would work with the black and white as long as it's not a deep, deep shade of teal.
