please help, how to graphically design a home using a computer?

please help me find a program that i can graphically design houses and interiors other than the sims. i would like one similar to these pictures: http://www.1021.co.za/arhitectural.html what is the name of this program? i want to download it please help me search for a good graphic home design program i can download to use. thank you

1. i think this was designed with autodesk viz or 3dsmax. try google sketchup. it allows you to design in 3d. and very easy to learn. they have video tutorials, just watch a few clips and you're set to go. sketchup also have plugins for radiosity to give that realistic photo effect.
2. For this you would need proper 3D modeling software You would have to do alot of researching and do tutorials (Found on the internet) before you cna do anything as great as that i use 3DS Max 8... but it costs a bomb... In terms of free software (And the fact that i assume ur a beginner) I reccomend "Google SketchUp(TM)" This is a simple 3D modelng program based on 3DS Max made by the owners of "Google Search(TM)" Here is the link: http://sketchup.google.com/ Hope this helps Jess xXx P.s.
