fun and odd things to take pictures of?

A picture of toilet paper, hung in the bathroom? an exercise in white on white that is! What idea's that sound so very easy and simple but can teach us and refine our skills? do you have do you have huh??? idea's that is of course play with words and camera's !!

1. Pictures of water, water falls, rivers, lakes ext..
2. Still objects in everyday life. Carry a camera for a day and take pictures of everything you touch before you touch it, Such as, pour a glass of juice and take a picture of the glass. Make yourself lunch and take a picture of you meal on a plate. Your socks on the floor before you put them on.
3. For stopping motion (fast shutter) try water, like a faucet or a fountain at a park. For showing motion (slow shutter) a person or pet running, jumping or playing. Use a tripod. Depth of field (close) macro on a flower, insect, office supplies, chess or other game pieces. Depth of field (infinite) field, orchard, backyard. Painting with light - use a pen light to make designs in the dark. Take some pictures in B&W to see how shadow/true black/true white effects composition. Turn your camera different angles. Put your body in different angles (than just standing), get low to the ground or high up. Zoom in more. You may find you like it better and have to crop less.
