How do I write an Internal Monolouge for Romeo in a modern version of Romeo and Juliet?

At school I have had to design a modern set design of the scene when Romeo and Juliet first meet. I have done it in a night club and Romeo sees Juliet dancing. For homework I have to write an internal monologue for Romeo and I have no idea what that is!

1. It's a monologue in which he talks to himself; usually, the character is trying to resolve some issue that is bothering them. For this scene, it depends on which way you want to go, but I would read the actual monologue that he has, and try to translate it into modern ideas that might occur if a guy saw some hottie in a nightclub.
