Wanting to design with 3 men in the house?

I have 2 male room mates and my husband. I love interior design but finding it impossible with 2 video game fanatics. I am wanting to design the living room but all I see is video games I am finding it almost impossible to camouflage these or store these and also store the 5 video game consoles. One of the room mates is also an artist so his drawing items end up all over the place. Any ideas on how to get this space really organized so I can do some work in here would be greatly appreciated.

1. Good lord woman! You should be sainted! hahaha! Anyway, do you have room for one of those really big IKEA bookshelves with all the cubby holes in it? I'd get one of those, load it up with baskets, and have the boys, yes, boys ;-) , load up their stuff in them. Everybody gets a row and must get in the habit of cleaning up after themselves before they go to bed. here's the link. Looks like they have one now that will also fit a TV into it. 2. Get rid of the boys. . . take your life back? I have 4 kids, three daughters and a son, and my house was always full of kids and parents. I came home one day after being gone for a 14 week project and threw them all outside simply explaining my house isn't the community center. What can I say, there just comes a time where you have to stake your claim. Don't get me wrong, I don't tell my wife what to do; I do though convey what I want or expect and there's a mutual respect in coming to that or a compromise on both sides. Being interior design is a passion of yours, pose what you need done to pursue that to you husband; get his help with the other two misdemeanors and get on with what you want to do.
