Remodeling Bathroom, What Color Would Look Good With...?

I'm getting ready to move in to my new apartment. I am having trouble finding a look for my bathroom. I found a cute shower curtain that is white and black. I don't want my bathroom to be gloomy and all black, so what other colors would look good with black to help it look good? Any good websites would be appreciated also ... Thanks :)

  1. Turquois looks super with black, so does a rose pink if vibrant. The trick will be in not using too many different patterns. There are lots of bathroom items now in vibrant colors - it's the new trend. You should be able to find something with no trouble at all.
  2. What about a really light red.. but not so much that it looks pink, so you can still tell its red. It seems to be a growing trend. Black, red, and white together.
  3. I think black and white look great together by themselves. You can add any strong color with them to make a statement. Reds, purples, blues, yellows/golds would all look great with black an white. The weight of another dark or bright color creates a fun and sometimes dramatic look. It depends on what feel you are going for. Sassy would be a bright pink or red. You could use a yellow for more of a fun fell. Pick a color that you are drawn to and have fun with it. Below are some decorating links and a color psychology link just for fun.
  4. I don't know if you can paint or not, but if you can I would choose a pastel like icy blue or aqua or pink. If you can't paint, maybe you can use wall decals instead to add some color to the walls. Then buy matching towels, rug, add some plants and candles and a beautiful piece of art. 5. yellow, purple or pink
  6. Any bright color should even out the gloominess of the plain white and black, so I'd suggest that you add any vibrant color. Here would be the moods that you could be perceiving: Pink: happy, cheerful Red: anger, business (as in busy-ness) Orange: excitement, hyperness Yellow: sunny, genuine Lime Green: nature, minty Green: foresty (as in forest-ey), tranquil Light Blue: water, calmness Blue: exhilaration, sleep Purple: sadness, confusion I hope this helped!!!
