What would be a good theme for a 21st birthday party?

I would like to have a 21st birthday party with a solid theme. I will either have it at my home or a local metal club. I've seen some pretty creative themes (zombie parties, mobster parties, etc.) and I would like to do something a alternative that people would have to dress for. I'm a graphic design artist as well and will be making fliers and posters for the event. There will be bands involved as well. If you have any good Ideas please post them!

You could do a really good seven deadly sins party. Everyone could dress up as their favorite sin. Or casino night. I've been to one that was pretty amazing.
I've been to a 21st birthday party that was themed "Legal around the world".. . people dressed up in different costumes from around the world. Ends up being pretty awesome if your friends put effort into their costumes
How about new age "bonnie and clyde" where you all dress up as gangsters, old classic style...my girlfriend had - and I hope this is not offensive - a pimp and ho party - but most of us girls dressed as pimps...You could do some play off of bs high school stuff like come as your least favorite person in hs...you could do a solid color or paired color party - black and white - gold and silver - or since it sounds like you are into metal bands, go off of that theme - have ppl group into their favorite metal group or period - 70's metal vs. 90's metal - and a prize goes to the best group
Vegas Party! You could have blackjack tables, card themed stuff, and people could trade chips in for fun prizes! There's TONs of stuff you could do with this theme, and lots of sites have ideas. VIVA LAS VEGAS!! :]]
