Why Obama want companies to 'give up thier profits'?

Obama has said, 'The insurance companies, the drug companies, they're not going to give up their profits easily when it comes to health care.' Why should they? Who will profit from making those industries unprofitable? When pharmaceutical companies have given up their profits, who will fund pharmaceutical innovations, without which there will be much preventable suffering and death? What other industries should 'give up their profits'?

17. What are you willing to sacrifice to make profit? I am all for profit, but to profit off of things people need to survive like health care, energy, food. To make these items so unaffordable just so some corporate big wig can make his pockets fuller is unacceptable. I am not saying they shouldn't have any profit, but not record breaking profit amid record breaking price increases. How many people should die because they couldn't afford to get health care, or food to feed their families or heat to keep warm in the winter.

It points out the largest flaw of liberal ideology -- forced redistribution of wealth (READ: THEFT) based on a so-called moral principle of helping the poor or "less fortunate." It's a well-known fact that the liberals believe it's OK to take something that doesn't belong to you if you're trying to help someone and the person or entity you're stealing from is wealthy anyway. So maybe we should encourage the impoverished people living in the Los Angeles area to raid Beverly Hills and clean out the mansions of all the limousine liberals living there -- hey, it's OK to steal from the rich if the proceeds are going to the poor, right? P.S.: If Obama got his way, ALL industries would give up their profits and hand them over to his government, which would then redistribute them based on who they feel need it the most. You can bet that hard-working families that are struggling to get by would be ignored while those who contribute nothing to our society except more children, more crime, and more of a drain on our economy would be riding THAT gravy train...
