Have you tried that mineral makeup that's all the rage?

I have tried Bare Escentuals (yes, that's how it's spelled), also known as Bare Minerals and liked it, but it's impossible to track a purchase after the initial start-up kit. Literally impossible. I ordered something 2 weeks ago and supposedly it's been floating around in Nashville (where I live) since the 6th of Feb. (Some stupid thing they're using called UPS Mail Innovations. Long story, bad idea.) Have you tried a different brand, and if so, do you love it, hate it? Pros and cons? Thanks!!

  2. laura mercier also has a great minerals line. my skin has gotten dry so i stopped using it and went to makeupforever HD liquid foundation which i personally like a lot better next time, you don't have to order the kits online- you can buy them at your local sephora or ulta store and not have to pay the shipping and handling. you can also go to sephora or ulta.com to see if they have any good deals
  3. Love Bare Escentuals. if you don't want to do the whole start up kit and monthly billing, you can buy it at Sephora. Also, my local mall now has a Bare Escentuals store.
  4. I just use the Maybelline Mineral Power, available in any store basically, and I like it a lot. Basically this stuff is all the same except for the tint. No sense in paying a ton of money for it if you don't have to.

  6. Everyday Minerals are a good alternative and they give free samples! I ordered from this site and P&P to UK cost me £3.40 but you get 3 bases, a blusher and a concealer/corrector.
