I'm so Confused, Which Class Should I Take?

I am a sophomore in high school, and I am about to enter me second semester. I have to choose between three classes. 1. Creative Writing 2. Web Designing 3. Chinese (Mandarin) I think I want to take Chinese, but I'm not sure how it would look on my college resume if I have three languages. (Latin 1 and 2/ Spanish 1/ Chinese 1.) What would they think off this? I want to attend Duke or UGA. I don't even know what Web Design is! How is it beneficial to my education and college choice? And I do not want to take Creative Writing. I'm in AP Lang., and I think that is enough writing for one calendar year. Which would you choose? Thanks!

  1. creative writing
  2. Taking multiple languages shows you cannot stick to one thing, do not take Chinese. Web Design tends to be a filler class for people who don't care about anything. Take Creative Writing if you are serious about school; it will help you in the long run.
  3. Think vocational. Don't worry about what college you get into. When it boils down to it, as long as the college offers what degree you want, it can be little po-dunk school in Willacoochee, and it won't make a difference. As long as it is accredited, of course. With that thought, I think that Web Design makes more sense. In fact, I may take that myself next quarter.
  4. web design--that probably have creative wriring in it----and web design or anything computer is most important to know in this day and age.
  5. Depends on what you eventually want to major in. If you want to do international Business or languages then take Chinese. If you want to end up doing anything in the writing field like communications, media, lit, english, take writing. If neither, web design would always be a plus because the more you know about computers these days, the better off you are.
