What would you call this type of apartment?

I'm trying to find pictures for layout/furniture ideas. If an apartment has only 3 rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living/bedroom combined) what's it called?

1. They call my daughters apartment like that a "Studio" Apartment.
2. In the midwest we call them studio apartments. I've also heard them called "efficiency" apartments.
