I'm not and never have been familiar with laptops and internet connection. So which one is better and how do you set up internet connection? I already have a modem connected to a Desktop computer. Is it possible if i could share the conection? if so how?

  1. The HP is better, and an amazing price!!! Internet on a laptop is exactly the same as on your desktop! You should buy a router if you want to share the connection, ask a guy at like COMP USA or something like that.
  2. Toshiba look at tomorrows sales(fry's)or best buy.. mostly fry's that where im getting mine
  3. The HP brand is better. It has better parts. The intel will guarantee it last longer and the dual core is a bonus. Most new laptops have a built-in wireless card already installed. All you have to do is ensure that you have a wireless router at home. You can buy them for less than $100 (I think I've seen them for about $50). And it is really easy to get connected. Ask the sales rep to show you.
  4. the hp sounds better - on high end notebooks toshibas are far better, but at this level, go with the hp - intel is WAY better than amd - more reliable, faster, energy efficient etc
  5. I would go with HP, better all round and longer lasting.
  6. ive never had a toshiba but i think you should go for toshiba because ive already had two hps and they honestly SUCK!! i hope their company is reading this cuz they suck ball hair! lol anyways thanks for answering my question about which is better mac or pc! :) good luck with which ever u chose tell me what u ended up choosing!
