Please tell me which is the difference betweeen lighting engineering and lighting design?

1. lighting engineering is the locating of the wiring....lighting desing is what fixtures to use
2. Lighting design is the creation of lighting the engineer then builds and makes real. Designing is to create the plans and make if fit into the space-on paper. Engineering makes it a reality based on the design-using the plans the designer made to make it real. Hope this helps!!!
