Good ideas for a sketchbook?

So I'm in art and design this semester and we have to have a sketchbook and by the end of the semester our teacher wants us to have at least 30 creative sketches in there. Like, really creative. He showed us an example of one of the sketchbooks from last semester and one of the girls had done an Obama poster like this one: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2247/2231... in nail polish. I have a few ideas, but I'm pretty bad at art and creativity and all. Does anybody have good ideas for some cool sketches? Thanks :] P.S. they don't all have to be sketches, he also likes things like collages, abstract, etc. What he said was the harder the sketchbook is to close the better it is. meaning like you can add in a bunch of stuff if you want, glue stuff, etc.

1. Draw a lion chasing a gazelle in a bushy type place or,like some cars on a road or sumthing futuristic
2. What I like to draw is photographs, like maybe go around your house or a park or something and take pictures of buildings, fountains, etc. Or people. I prefer people, but you might be better at objects. Also, are you allowed to use computers? Because I like making collages on Picasa3. You could try designing a collage on Picasa and printing the pictures out and re-making the collage in your sketchbook. I had to do a similar class like yours, except we didn't have any requirements, just to do something creative in our sketchbooks. I just took some photographs I had and drew them. Maybe if you have some manikins, you can twist them around in different poses. There's this ballerina statue at my school, which is in such a good pose for drawing. You could try making a really detailed portrait of someone, maybe a friend or family member, and draw them and add borders and designs. Hope I helped!

Well Im half asleep so i can't really think of much but so far i think u can do something like draw a body wit a certain posture like something really funny and stick your friends heads but make sure they are three forth the size of their body! At my college we had to draw anything but using dots and the dots quantity made its look reaal beautiful...i can send you mine... i don't know what else can you do so far i'm out of ideas...sorry Ok so i remembered what more stuff i did at college ... 1) take diff kinds of leaves and try to copy then a)showing the veins and stuff and shade them with pencil or b) just take the out lines of the leaves and fill them in wit diff types of lines and color them it turns out really beautiful.. 2) Draw a cople of fruits and paint them with guache in warm colors and paint their backgrounds in cold colours then trace the same drawing on da other half of the paper and flip the warm and cold colors 3) use a couple of shape for example the heart and square and oval and make them intersect at then color them in black and white trust me this turns out into an amazing drawing and the more shapes the more fascinating it would look 4) Choose a shape or picture and use it in diff colors or sizes or position and fill the page with it in a decorative way I hope i helped :D
4. I think you may be able to derive some creativity by making a theme to your pics....find a subject matter or idea that will allow you to explore original concepts...for example the seven deadly sins, horoscope signs, mythology, etc.
