What is the 'toilet commode' look alike thing in the toilets and bathrooms?
I see a thing which looks similar to the toliet commode, usually next to it or a bit far from it in the toilets and bathrooms. Can somebody tell me what is it and what is it for? I have seen it in many home interior magazines .

- do you mean a bidet? sort of looks like a small sink and is mounted about the same height as a commode water comes up to clean 'certain parts' of you. its a bidet.
- It's a bidet. Bidets are primarily used to wash and clean the external genitalia and the anus, as well as the skin near these areas, including the perineum. More info and a picture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bidet
