VBA code to copy the unique items in a column to separate sheet

I'm preparing a macro to auto-filter a range of data. Then, select the first criteria and copy the data to a sheet, select the second criteria and copy data to a new sheet and so on. For this, first I need to copy the unique entries in the first column to an array, so that I can set the criteria by calling the values from array. Anybody knows how to do this.
