HELP!!! POSTER IDEAS!!!!?

Ineed some help with my poster. Its for english and I have to make a creative plot summary poster with at least 3 colors (black and white dont count) but i cant come up with an idea to start...... this is a terrible description but its all i can tell you so... its about a girl who cant leave this island. its also about no one believing her when she is in trouble. im asking for help in designing like a background for the poster but ANY IDEAS HELP MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!!! so please tell me anything im desperate..... lol thanks soooooo much! oh its taking place in the summer....the characters are mostly teens......

1. well for the backgound lightly draw an island and color it lightly yellow for sand and brown and green for plam trees throw in some blue for the water and it should look great!
2. She's sitting with knees bent to her chest alone with sand and palm tree. Discarded cell phone. Notes in bottles...notes on ground crumpled...empty bottles scattered...she's grabbing her hair and screaming (exaspirated!!)at the sky...and all in sky area you show floating images swirling of characters she's asked for help...some holding note saying "help" and some with note and bottle, some on cell ohnes......and they are all laughing!!!...just show their faces...swirling maniacally in sky...her Mom--Grandmother, friends, police officer etc--and they're all laughing!!!(like it's a big joke!)...and a big exclamation of her yelling HELP!!! above her...like she's going crazy! Maybe show boat on beach with big hole in it! Blue sky--sun etc...color as you would any cartoon.
3. Well since you said she CAN'T leave the island, maybe draw the girl in one of those glass bottles with the cork on it symbolizing that she can't leave the place she is in. She has to have some type of pleading or troubled look on her face as she's pounding on the glass or something. You could either place the bottle resting on sand or being afloat on the water that outlines the island. (Mind you the bottle should be large and taking up almost all the space) Then any background 'filler' items you could place around to make it look more like an island. good luck with the poster!
