I'm having a nervous breakdown. Can you please help me choose a career path?

I'm currently in college pursuing business. I have taken all the prerequisites and will start in January on my specific major. I've chosen accounting, but it's not too late to switch to management or marketing. I am a creative person. I can really draw and I love to design and decorate. I'm afraid accounting will kill me, but I need to complete a business major now that I'm so close. I'm 34, btw, not young. I have an accounting internship interview on Dec. 1st at a great company but I'm not so thrilled about it. My practical side says 'yeah'; my creative side feels a nail is being put in its coffin. I don't want to be creative and broke, but I don't want to be well-off and miserable. I've been an artist since childhood. It comes naturally to me...accounting is more work. What should I do????

  1. my advice is follow your head now and after your degree your heart. Once you have your degree and have started work, there is no reason, if you still want to, that you can't still be an artist. It will be part time of course and hey if you make it big with your artwork then you have the option of leaving your accounting work for other things and you always have your degree to fall back on. Good Luck
  2. You have to start believing in yourself a little more,i believe we can make everything work in our favor.I advise you to get a copy of Rhonnda Byrne's best seller the secret and apply those simple laws to your everyday life and watch your life blossom. You said your interested in marketing thats great because i am a full time online marketer. And if you ever that about making i great living online marketing i have an amazing opportunity that you'll like.
