Where can I find four-cheese(quatro formaggio) lasagna in Houston?

I was watching America's Test Kitchen the other day, and it occurred to me that I'd never had four-cheese lasagna before, As big a city as Houston is, there should be ONE place that serves it. And don't say "Olive Garden". No. Just no. P.S. Four-cheese lasagna does not have meat or tomato sauce of any kind.

  1. There is a place at Eldridge and Westheimer called "Lasagne House" I think there are a couple because I've seen ads for I, II, and III (1,2,3). Yum!
  2. Lasagna is really very easy to make and if this one does not have meat or tomato sauce that makes it even easier. Try making it yourself. When you cook at home not only do you save money but can be a real enjoyment. P.S. The secret to really good home cooking is to use the best ingredients you can find.
  3. Actually, the place at Eldridge and Westheimer is the Lasagna House III. I haven't been there since before my heart attack in '99, but it is still open and people still rate it highly. I'm also told they have a great shrimp scampi. In addition, I have had quattroformaggi with a tomato sauce. It was a vodka based tomato sauce and very light. The cheeses are normally mozzarella, ricotta, pecorino romano, and parmesan. In addition, an Italian restaurant I worked at in the mid-80s had a cinqueformaggi lasagna. That one had a white sauce. The fifth cheese was, believe it or not: gorgonzola, a medium-strong bleu cheese.
