Natwerk Designs

can anyone recmd creative design software/websites to become a graphic designer?

any cheap/free ones would be ideal.. and also, i'm not very IT literate, so anything easy would be even better!

  1. Well, for free: http://www.inkscape.org http://www.gimp.org http://www.scribus.net
  2. Adobe Photoshop
  3. www.alice.com or www.alice.org it takes a long time to set up but it is way worth it!!!
  4. My mom is a graphic desinger and she loves it.Here's some great links I found for you. Enjoy! http://www.allgraphicdesign.com/graphicdesigner-careers-becomea.html http://www.allgraphicdesign.com/rlinks.html http://www.elance.com/ http://www.Corel.com http://www.Sologig.com
  5. my brother has one: www.magesystems.com
  6. Photoshop, or if you can't get that one, you could try Jasc Paint Shop Pro. Photoshop is better, though. (I think. I don't have Photoshop.) I've never used it myself, but apparently there's a program called openCanvas that's even better than Photoshop.
  7. CorelDraw for a draw program. Some like Adobe Illustrator (I don't), Adobe Photoshop for a paint program is better than CorelDraws. They work great together. Not cheap but if you are serious about doing graphic design you need good tools. And you are more likely to get hired if you have skills with the good programs.
  8. Photoshop Illustrator Indesign or Quark The first three you can buy in a bundle for about 1grand These are industry standards. Most places won't hire you unless you know them. Don't waste your time with anything else. You should also take some classes. You'll be wasting your time if you don't.
