who does a better job with remodeling a bathroom Lowes or Home Depot?

I am remodeling a bathroom and kitchen who should I go with Lowe's or Home Depot ..tell me your horror stories

1. LOWES, they have a better selection,better prices,& do great work!!
2. I have not heard anything bad about either one. You could go to an unrelated shop like a paint shop and ask what their opinion is. They won't be doing the work but have probably heard many stories and the opinion should be unbiased.
3. They both "sub" their work out. Good chance the same subcontractors are working for both.
4. If you do your research and look around and get your own remoldeler.It could be someone who sub contracts from these 2 places. You ll save money since all companies who sub contract out work make money off of doing it, so you pay high money. Get paper work, references from the sub contractor and look at their past jobs and talk to the people who they work for. You may inherit some head aches but you can save a ton of money. GL
5. they all use sub-contractors. Lowe's and Home Depot are do it yourself centers and they have inferior merchandise. pros do not shop there except in an emergency. they go to supply houses... builder's supplys. GET A REFERRAL FROM SOMEONE WHO HAD WORK DONE!
